Acer CloudMobile Smartphone Release Date
A new concept of phone announced
The Mobile World Congress event starting on the 27th of February in Barcelona was chosen by Acer to announce its CloudMobile smartphone. The device will be released somewhere in summer for China and in the next few months of 2012 in North America.
Not many people know about the Acer CloudMobile phone. Only recently did the company mention its existence. The device manufactured by Acer are yet to impress people. So when there was news about a new smartphone making its debut this year, everybody thought it would be made by HTC or Samsung.
Even before its official release date come out, techshout.com was quick to say that the device got an IF award for its design. That means that the product looks good. The Acer CloudMobile has yet to let more details about it be known to people. The manufacturer prefers to keep info about it as little as possible. But from what got out this is their first smartphone to be equipped with a cloud computing service: the Acer Cloud. This is a service through which owners can keep their multimedia files in the said cloud. Whenever you want to open those files, you will be able to do so at any point in time; and you won’t have to transfer content manually from the CloudMobile to various devices.
1.5 GHz dual core processor
The display has a rumor going on of being a 4.3″ one activated by touch. Resolution: 720 x 1280 pixel. The processor looks like it’s going to be a 1.5 GHz dual core. CPU will have to be the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. 16GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM continue the list of possible specs. Connectivity will contain everything that is important and sought after. The battery remain to be seen what kind it will be. Sound might be offered by Dolby.
