Eee Pad Asus Transformer Prime Hardware Problems

Some issues are present

From time to time every gadget will experience a problem of some sort. That’s what happened to Asus’ Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet that encountered some issues with its hardware. These problems were reported by consumers immediately after they started using the gadget for the first time.

From what owners of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime claim, it looks like the problem which the tablet has is related to the operating system, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The OS update that Asus made to this device seems to have backfired into causing users issues. They are the following: the tablet locks up and they have to do a manual reset. The upgrade to the aforementioned operating system came as a way of solving previous problems, such as bad performance from the Wi-Fi and GPS features.Eee-Pad-Asus-Transformer-Prime

The solution ?

Asus themselves are aware of consumers’ hardware complaints and Gary Key, technical marketing manager at the company, announced its hopes that his team would find a solution to this issues this month at the latest. Before the announcement, Mr. Key discussed on the XDA developers forum about an update on a few bug fixes he and his colleagues were working on. But, until actual measures are taken, owners of Eee Pad Transformer Prime are still battling their frustrations at the random lock up the tablet experiences when they use it for different purposes and the fact that a reset is needed to make the gadget come to its senses, but the fallout for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is another problem that needs a quick fix.

The company did the best thing by asking Eee Pad Transformer users to send Gary Key a private message on the said XDA forum in which they should include the serial number of their gadget. That way Asus hopes to find a solution till the end of this month.

We have had the Asus Transformer Netbook for 3 weekd and it keeps shutting down and will not come back on. The first time I googled it and it said to hold down the on button for 30 seconds and it came back on. This time it will not. I will have to take it back to Best Buy and have them look at it.
